Elan multimedia is a small web studio in the 406 - 1169 27th Street East, North Vancouver run by Edda Langworth web consultant and developer.

“When I was thinking of a name for my start-up company in 2000 I decided to call it Elan Multimedia, deriving from my name Edda Langworth. Then I realized that élan is actually a French word that means to do something with passion and enthusiasm and I thought it was very fitting.  That is exactly how I approach my work and I put high emphasis on professionalism, quality and customer service and I strive to keep up with what is new in the field of web design, User Interface Design and web development.   I would be pleased to meet with you and discuss how I can help you with your web development needs.“
Edda Langworth

Edda has eighteen years’ experience in the field of web project management, web development and design.

After completing a BA in Communication with minor in Publishing from Simon Fraser University in 1999 she founded Elan Multimedia in 2000.

She worked as assistant coordinator of the Simon Fraser University’s Summer Publishing Workshops in Vancouver from 2001 - 2002 and as Acting Coordinator for Award Fundraising at the same university from 2002 - 2003.

Originally from Iceland, Edda moved with her family back to Iceland in 2004 where she worked as Web Project Manager at EcSoftware in Reykjavik Iceland from 2004 – 2005. Web Consultant and Designer at Athygli PR and Publishing until January 2011. Then she ventured out as an entrepreneur and founded the sister company of Elan multimedia in Iceland – Elan margmiðlun Inc.

Edda lives in North Vancouver, BC, Canada and serves her clients both in Iceland, Canada, Britain and the USA from her office in Lynn Valley.
